Kirsty Bowen

Kirsty, Head of Web Development at Everglow, has been with us since 2010, when she joined as a full-stack junior developer with a first-class honours degree in IT.

Over the years, she’s turned her focus to back-end WordPress and PHP development, steadily progressing through the ranks. Today, she leads our talented web team, presiding over the delivery of robust, scalable digital solutions from initial concept to website launch.

Kirsty believes in building strong relationships, writing clean, maintainable code and leading by example. Her deep love of logic, problem solving, maths and all things tech is matched by a forensic eye for detail, which helps her to spot issues before they become problems. She’s also unflappable under pressure.

She thrives on working closely with our clients to tackle their complex challenges and create custom-built websites that consistently exceed their expectations. Alongside hands-on development, she takes pride in her project management and organisational skills, which have been strengthened by an ILM accreditation in Leadership and Management.

As a leader, she focuses on fostering collaboration, mentoring others and driving strategic direction to deliver hard-hitting work that has a lasting impact.

She’s also a mum to two girls, which definitely keeps her on her toes. Outside of work, you’ll find her most weekends at her caravan in West Wales, spending time at the beach and going for walks.
