Blue Stag is now Everglow! Read the rebrand story

A wall with a gradient of soft pink, purple, and blue stag colours displays the word everglow in large, white, lowercase letters.

From Blue Stag to Everglow, a new chapter in our story

Back in 2008, the world looked a little different.

We were still poking people on Facebook. Mobile apps were just taking off. Obama was about to make history. And skinny jeans were getting dangerously skinny.

Fresh out of university, a few of us had an idea – to start a creative agency.

We had no grand plan. Just a lot of passion, curiosity, and the kind of naive optimism that pushes you to go for it.

We wanted to make great work and see where it led. And it’s led us to some incredible places.

A man in a coral shirt sits at a bar, looking to the side. Behind him, people talk and a lit sign reads Caerdydd. Bar equipment, glasses, and wine bottles are on the shelves in the background. Three people at a pub: a man in a camouflage shirt holding a beer, a man in glasses with his arm round him, and a woman holding a glass of wine, pointing and sticking her tongue out playfully at the camera. Two men sit closely together, smiling at the camera. One has glasses and fair hair, while the other has dark hair and a patterned shirt. The man on the right has his arm round the other. The background shows city lights at night. A room undergoing refurbishment with exposed wires hanging from the ceiling, scattered building materials on the floor, a red ladder, and tools. Walls are partially painted and industrial-style lights hang overhead. Four people sit at a table eating pizza. The man in front has glasses and is taking a bite, while the woman in the centre, wearing dungarees, smiles excitedly. Two others eat and chat in the background. Three friends stand close together, smiling and laughing on a city street at night. Wearing blue denim jackets and casual clothes, they enjoy the glow of streetlights and Welsh flags—perhaps talking about their Everglow careers and future dreams. Two women sit at a table in sunlight, laughing together. One is holding playing cards and the other has her hand near her neck. A glass of iced tea is on the table in front of them. A man with dark hair and a black shirt sits at a desk, smiling with his eyes closed. Shelves above hold books, figurines—including a blue stag—a plant, and a heart-eyes emoji cushion. Photos and a computer monitor are also visible. A group of twelve people, passionate about humanitarian and international development, pose together on a decorated stage with festive lights, tinsel, and Christmas trees. A neon sign in the background reads, Merry Christmas Ya Filthy Animal.

Over the past 17 years, we’ve worked on national campaigns to end knife crime. We helped launch Wales’ first Women’s Health Plan for the NHS. Brought the voices of over 10,000 people to COP26. Branded the first B Corp Festival. And created the #NameOurShip campaign to promote UK polar research. You know, the one that gave the world Boaty McBoatface.

It’s been a wild ride, and I’m proud of every moment.

But as our work has grown in scale and ambition, so has our sense of purpose.

We’ve seen how creativity can do more than capture attention. It can shape behaviour, shift perspectives, and drive meaningful change.

In recent years, we’ve taken time to reflect on what that really means for us. Becoming a B Corp helped bring that into focus. It gave us space to think more deeply about our role, our impact, and the kind of legacy we want to leave behind. We’ve made some big shifts.

We’ve redefined how we approach projects, putting people at the heart of everything and digging deep to understand what really moves them. We’ve sharpened our values to reflect who we truly are now: purposeful, bold, curious, inventive, impactful, and always in it together.

We’ve launched new programmes – Glow For Good, our Everglow Partner Programme supporting small organisations with big ideas. And The Takeaway, which gives young people real-world experience while delivering meaningful work for organisations.

We’ve moved to a four-day working week (with the same pay). And we’ve changed how we make decisions, passing the power to our team to help shape the work we do and where we put our energy.

Blue Stag has been a big part of our story, and we’re proud of what we’ve achieved under that name.

Three people work at a table covered with sticky notes, pens, and a can of energy drink. One person in the foreground writes on a sticky note while two others examine notes further back. Warm lamps light the space. A man in a brown shirt looks thoughtfully at colourful sticky notes on a glass wall, while a blurred person stands on the other side, partially obscured by the notes. Two men are sitting indoors at a table with laptops. One man, in focus, is speaking and gesturing with his hands, while the other is blurred in the foreground, listening. A window with bars is in the background. Two women stand indoors, one with curly hair and glasses in a teal shirt, the other with blonde hair in a denim shirt. Colourful sticky notes are visible on a glass wall beside them. They appear to be in conversation. Two women indoors; one in the foreground wearing a denim shirt, speaking and gesturing with her hand, and another in the background wearing a yellow top and black cardigan, looking towards the camera. A person writes on a large sheet of paper covered with pink sticky notes and diagrams, which is taped to a glass wall. Colourful sticky notes are also on the wall, indicating a brainstorming or planning session.

As our thinking, values and creative direction evolved, we wanted an identity that expressed this next chapter. Something that reflects the way we work today and the kind of impact we aim to create.

That’s what Everglow represents.

It speaks to the kind of work we want to do more of. Not just creative that cuts through in the moment, but ideas and campaigns that live on in people’s minds. It is not about the flash. It is about what endures.

In practice, that means helping our clients find their own North Star – the clear idea that guides their work and gives it lasting impact. You’ll see it across our case studies, because every project is about more than a single campaign. It is about creating work that endures, for them and for the people they serve.

We are still the same team. Still grounded in human behaviour. Still driven by purpose and collaboration.

But we are clearer than ever about what we stand for, and more focused than ever on where we are heading.

To everyone who has been part of the journey so far, thank you. Your trust has shaped everything we have become.

This is a new chapter, not a new story.

And we are just getting started.

Welcome to Everglow. Let’s see where this takes us ✨
