Matt Smith

Matt is our project manager, and we trust him to keep things organised, on track and on brief.

He manages both our in-house team and our pool of trusted freelancers, efficiently scheduling work and removing blockers so our creative talent can really shine. He’s driven by the need to deliver results that everyone’s proud of, and our clients love his positivity, calmness and collaborative mindset.

Matt’s the kind of project manager who keeps a level head when the pressure’s on, always preferring to stay composed, clear and productive. He has that rare ability to get the job done without passing on any negative vibes to the rest of us.

He holds a degree in film and television production, as well as qualifications in Agile project management (and more pending!).

His eight years of agency experience spans TV ads, digital content and out-of-home (OOH) print. He’s equally comfortable handling big budgets or leading global shoots with talent like Serena Williams. Over the past two years alone, he’s completed more than 70 projects, including 25+ animations, working with organisations like Amazon, Tesla and Welsh Government.

At Everglow, he’s passionate about continually refining our processes and improving how we work, not just for the business and our clients, but for the wellbeing of the team too. He loves getting stuck into a challenge and acting as a critical friend to projects, bringing a fresh perspective and asking the silly questions that turn out to be the most revealing.

Outside of work, Matt loves hiking and discovering local trails in his area. He’s hoping to combine this with running, which he has a love-hate relationship with. He’s also the proud owner of over 50 board games.
