So we have some pretty cool news.
Over the last few months we’ve been working closely with Cardiff University to design a new Digital Marketing Programme, offering support to early-stage businesses and students.
As an agency, we’ve always been pretty passionate about supporting and nurturing young talent. But, in light of COVID, the last year or so has been particularly tough for students, and they’ve come up against lots of obstacles.
So when Rhys Pearce-Palmer, the Enterprise Manager at Cardiff University, invited us to design a Digital Marketing Programme for their students, we jumped at the chance.
We’ve spent a few months listening to what the students want and what they feel would benefit them most.
We’ve designed the programme around practical workshops and one-to-one support, covering a mix of branding, marketing, and strategic thinking.
We’ll pull on the knowledge, skills and experience of a few members of the Blue Stag team for this one, so we can cover a wide range of topics, sessions and experiences.
Here are some words from Rhys…
“Having a clear digital identity and strategy is vital for start-ups. This is especially true since the pandemic forced everyone online in a way never seen before. At Cardiff University, we support students to explore, validate, and launch new businesses. We’ve enhanced our support with grant funding from Big Ideas Wales which has enabled this exciting new project.
Blue Stag have a fresh style that’s perfect for this. They were a graduate start-up themselves and have a track record of supporting young creatives. It’s very exciting that we can collaborate on a Digital Marketing Programme for our student entrepreneurs. Over the summer, Blue Stag will work with a cohort of Cardiff University students to support, educate, and guide them. I can’t wait to see the results!”
We’ve had some incredible applications come through from Cardiff University students.
We’re really excited to start working with them. I’m sure it will inspire, challenge, and amaze us.
