The Journey Starts Here
Taith is Wales’ international learning exchange programme, created to give learners, young people, staff and volunteers opportunities to explore the world and bring those experiences back home. It’s built on a simple but powerful belief: that global experiences change lives.
We had already partnered with Taith to create their brand, identity and website. The showreel was the next step, a way to bring the brand to life in film and share Taith’s mission with audiences in a more human and emotional way.
Creative approach
Our goal was to tell the story of international exchange in a way that was real, inspiring and human. We wanted to show what the brand feels like through the voices and experiences of the people taking part.
We collected reflections, quotes and footage from Taith participants, shaping them into a poetic script crafted entirely from their own words. This ‘found poetry’ gave the showreel rhythm and emotion, while staying rooted in lived experiences.
The visuals were sourced from the same places, with learners and staff sharing their journeys, paired with new interviews filmed across Wales. One of the most powerful moments shows a boy opening his first passport: a small gesture that symbolises independence and a life-changing first step.
By weaving these stories together, the showreel became less about promotion and more inviting the viewer to enter Taith’s world. It demonstrated that Taith isn’t just a programme, it’s a gateway to new worlds, new perspectives and new opportunities.
Bringing the brand to life
The showreel brought Taith’s mission of ‘taking Wales to the world, and bringing the world to Wales’ to a different medium. Bold visuals, participant footage and human storytelling extended the brand beyond the website and into a format that could inspire people at events, online and across social media.
It gave Taith a versatile asset, capable of speaking to learners, educators, policymakers and the public with the same message: international experiences can transform your life.
